Our Dive Center
at Blue EmOcean
Diving stands at the heart of what happens here at Blue EmOcean.
Our dive center operates from the resort's own private jetty, sending boats out to explore Moyo Island's dive sites.
Every dive starts with a short walk from your room to the water, and ends with fresh coffee waiting on the resort. Whether this is your first time breathing underwater or you are working toward your next certification, our team of professional instructors is here to guide you through it, in small groups, at your own pace.
Why dive with BlueEmOcean
We keep our dive groups small, matching each team by certification level, experience and comfort in the water, so nobody feels rushed or lost in a crowd.
Full equipment rental is included with every dive, so you can pack light and let us handle the rest. A private jetty leads straight out to our House reef, and our pool is on hand for diving training sessions.
Every diver comes here with a different goal, and we build each trip around it. Underwater photographers get the time and space to line up their shot, families can dive and snorkel together on the same trip, and experienced divers chasing a thrilling deep wall dive will find it here too.
As a small, family style dive center, we get to know our divers, and many tell us they don't want to leave!

Fun dives & Boat schedule
Our dive boats typically depart between 8am and 10am, adjusted daily for the tide. Each trip includes two or three dives with a tea or coffee break in between, dive equipment is included.
All of our dive sites sit between ten and thirty minutes away by boat, and for something further, we can arrange a special diving trip out to Satonda Island or Medang Island.
Beyond the daily boat trips, shore dives are available straight from our jetty on the house reef, and night dives can be booked for those who want to see the reef come alive after dark.

Scuba Diving Courses
Moyo Island is a remarkable place to learn how to dive, with calm, clear conditions and professional instruction close at hand.
First time divers can start with a Discover Scuba Diver a gentle introduction with no experience required, before working toward a full Open Water certification in our calm, sheltered sites. Divers returning to the water after time away can take a Scuba Refresher to rebuild confidence and core skills.
Certified divers ready for more can move on to the Advanced Diver course, or Specialty courses choosing from deep diving, navigation, night diving , Drift diving and buoyancy across a series of guided dives.
